The Lewis Rock Band

So we have this side door to our house that seems to catch everything. Shoes, Hats, Coats, whatever but it's always a mess. I decided to put up a curtain so the rest of the world wouldn't have to look at our mess any longer. The kids have just been having the best time in this area. They play house, fire station, whatever their little imaginations can come up with. Today they held a rock concert in this little area and it was the funniest thing I think I've watched in a long time! They pulled out the winter hats and gloves and jammed out to "Rocky Roader". Whatever that is..... One of Jack's favorite songs and we have no idea where it came from.

My Sweet Little Children.

They are just getting so big. Harrison loves to play in the grass, Jack likes being silly and Josephine is just a beautiful little princess.

John enjoying his children.

John went out of town for a few days to do his half-ironman triathlon. We are always so proud of him but miss him terribly. We were so shocked when I brought Harrison in to see Daddy for the first time since he had been back. He said, "Dada" and reached for him. When I handed him to Daddy he laid on his chest and gave him the biggest hug. It was so sweet. John didn't think that Harrison would have even noticed he was gone but boy he really did. This was just a sweet little family moment that I never want to forget. Check out Josephine's little face!

Harrison's Baptism

Harrison with his Godparents Kenny and Pia Reinhold. He was starved. We couldn't get a picture without the bottle in his mouth! He would just start screaming.

Innsbrook

We have some really wonderful friends Steve, Nicole and Claudia. They have been letting us spend time with them out at their place in Innsbrook. To us it is just a little piece of heaven. The kids just love it and it is just so relaxing for us. We feel a little guilty because we've been leaving Harrison behind but he would just eat the sand. Next year little guy. The sweet little blonde girl is Claudia and then there are a couple photos of Jack, Jamieson and Josephine playing in the sand. Notice Jack putting sand on top of Jamieson head. What a stinker!

It's been a long time!!!!!!

We have had such a wonderful summer. We've been going to the parks a lot, Innsbrook, and pretty much just playing outside. Harrison is going to be 1 on September 14. I don't know where the year went. He is SOOOO sweet. Jack and Josephine just love him. They are starting to fight with him a little bit though because he gets into their toys. And he really likes fire trucks too. Oh no!

Harrison's Silly Faces

He's just getting bigger & cuter by the minute.  He is such a joy to have in our lives.  (Boy do I sound like my Mother!!!!!  Ha ha!)  He really is though.  Couldn't ask for a better baby.  Just about crawling, he's inch worming all around the room.  Watch out world!

check out my tooth!

I actually have 2 now and 2 more coming!

It's been awhile!

Jack has just become such a sweet, cooperative boy 90% of the time.  He wants to help with whatever we are doing.  He just loves his brother and sister.  Especially his sister.  He's so helpful with her.  He will grab her hand and help her down the stairs.  It's so cute.  He also tells me when Sissy has to go potty.  He's such a good boy!
Josephine has turned 2 and boy you would know it!  She's still sweet as ever but I think might be a little bit spoiled.  (From her Daddy, of course)  She is now potty trained for the most part and wants to do everything herself.  She also wants to do everything Jack is doing.  She had some exciting new at her last hematologist appointment.  Her ANC was over 7000.  Yes, I said 7,000 not 700  We were in complete shock.  This doesn't mean she has grown out of her neutropenia yet but we are hoping that is what is happening!  Keep praying for her!  She a tough little girl!
Harrison is just changing by the minute.  I can't believe he's 6 1/2 months old already.  He has gotten 2 teeth and is rolling from one end of the room to the other.  It won't be long before he's crawling.  He LOVES his big brother and sister.  He just stares at them and laughs at them constantly.

Jack and Josephine enjoying lunch on the front porch.

On nice days they just love to be on the front porch checking everything out. They like to watch the fire trucks drive up and down Laclede or watch the squirrels running up the trees. They are just the best of friends now. They do fight but for the most part just love each other. Josephine misses Jack so much when he's at school. He usually hugs her and asks if she missed him while he was gone. It's so darn sweet. I'll have to remind them of this a few years from now I'm sure. Sassy little thing isn't she!

Harrison learning to eat rice cereal.

Little Josephine wearing Mommies big shoes.

Jack and his friends.

Jack just loves his little animals.  He carries them all around the house.  Today they are sitting at the table having lunch.  What an imagination!

Jack and Josephine just love their little brother!
